Ms. Preethi Kamal Balla is a dedicated educator with over 10+ years of teaching experience across diverse educational settings. She is passionate about inclusive education and committed to developing effective teaching practices that support learners of all abilities.

As an Assistant Professor in Special Education she actively engages in both academic and institutional responsibilities. She is committed to creating an inclusive and interactive learning environment by involving students in curricular as well as co-curricular activities that enhance their professional and personal development.

She plays a key role in organizing and guiding teaching practice programs, ensuring that student-teachers gain hands-on classroom experience and develop effective teaching skills. She actively participates in conducting and supervising providing continuous mentoring, feedback, and support to trainees.

 

I possess international professional experience in special education, having worked in the United States of America, where I supported children with diverse special educational needs. This exposure has enhanced my pedagogical competencies and broadened my understanding of globally accepted practices in inclusive and special education.

  • Worked as a Primary School Teacher, teaching all subjects.
  • Served as a Middle School and High School Teacher, teaching English and Social Studies.
  • Worked as an Indian sign language interpreter.
  • Worked in a Degree College for the Deaf, handling subjects like English and Basic Computer Skills across all semesters for 4.5 years.
  • Currently working in Bachelor of Special Education, actively involved in teacher training programs.
